Solar Server ☀️

The Chain Reaction website is hosted on the Kuti community solar server. This means that whenever there is not enough sunlight and the battery runs out, the page will not be accesible.

The following is what powers the server:

• 200Wp Solar Panel
• 24 Ah battery
• Backup 600mAH battery connected to the SBC as ultimate backup

Though in theory this could let the server survive through a couple bad weather days, it is still in Copenhagen where sunlight ain’t exactly abundant. That said, from April to November the server runs quite well and is rarely down.
